Btw...to my best buddy Mods You 2 let this thread ride out the front page til its over Even if I'm not here to defend it If you don't I'll haunt ya Pin it..love ya Smart money saw the Suns run over the Lakers many weeks ago. Only the Faker Fans were blind. The Thread stays right were it is UFN. Kick butts, Suns. Grandpa Nash is pulling for everyone to be great. Of course it stays where it is as it is Cards related since the Cardinals GOAT is minority owner of the Suns! Probably also the delay in the announcement of status.

The Denver Nuggets will play hard versus the Phoenix Suns. Suns starters and the bench guys need to bring their A game to the second round. The Nuggets are an all-around competitive team without many weaknesses. Solid Suns Defense and great Guard shooting will again carry the day versus the Nuggets. I forecast 7 games this round.

You know after the first series against the Lakers, I read an article on nba dot com and the guy who wrote it talked about how the lakers losing was shocking and all he talked about was the injury to Davis being an issue, yes I know I mentioned it too, but he never said anything about how Paul being hurt and not 100% hurt the Suns just as much. I actually emailed him and told him he didnt mention Paul, who is just as important to the Suns as Davis is to the Lakers... He responded and we had a conversation, basically he didnt like what I said lol. Anyway last nights game pretty much proves the point how important Paul is to this team. Some maybe disagree, but this team wouldnt even be this good without Paul. Booker has been with the Suns for a few years now and the team still sucked. Paul made everyone better, he is to the Suns what Nash was to the Suns... IMO.

He played for Heat last season and has been in the finals so there is playoff experience.

Man..the sun's opened a can in the 3rd last night... Listening the radio heads this morning...its all clippers now..lol..we get no respect I re-watched the 16-0 run again this morning as the "can" was definitely opened. I saw that since J. Murray's injury the Nuggets lose if "THE JOKER" doesn't score 30 pts or more -- keep D.A. rim running and tire him out and I am not sure he will score above 30 in this series. Purposely watched Fox Sports and "Get Up" on ESPN and in the first 45 minutes I heard discussions about the Brooklyn team on 3 separate segments and Fox Sports discussed Lebron for 10 minutes with only about a 30 second discussion on the Suns. The Suns game was very entertaining and yet In the last 3 games vs. last season's champions and the Nuggets, Suns have outscored these opponents by a total of 60 points !!!!

Suns related -- I believe Amare Stoudemire's best years (before microfracture surgery) were IMO easily better than Chris Bosh's best who just made the HOF. The stats are very, very similar but the microfracture and Amare/Boris getting off the bench (though I won't forgive Stern's decision about it) cost the Suns a world championship and possibly Amare's election into the HOF (i.e. no championship ring).
Just a random thought -- as Bosh was not even "Robin" on the Heat teams championships (behind both LJ and Wade) whereas Amare was easily #1 or #2 on a couple of teams who should have won a championship -- it is a shame.

It helps to have a title on your belt to make the HOF. I remember when Amare went down with the knee injury, Boris Diaw broke out that year. But Amare had something a lot worse/scary when he got hit in the face with the ball and his retina was detached. He had to have surgery and be face down and still for 23 hours a day. Crazy. He came back though and balled out. The guy is HOF material IMO, problem is like I said, he didnt have a title under his belt, so may take longer.

Just to make some points about Amare's stats (from basketball-reference.com) shows that in the playoffs per 36 minutes here is how Bosh vs. Amare comes out: Stats - Per 36 Minutes | Amare | Chris Bosh | PLAYOFF GAMES | 78 | 89 | POINTS | 21.9 | 16.0 | REBOUNDS | 8.6 | 7.6 | BLOCKS | 1.6 | 1.2 | FG Percentage | 51.2% | 47.3% |
